Tiger Cub Motto: SEARCH, DISCOVER, SHARE
Tiger Cubs is a fun program that introduces
first-grade boys and their adult partners to the excitement
of Cub Scouting as they "search, discover, share"
together.
The Cub Scout Pack
The Pack is a group made up of several dens - Tiger
Cub, Cub Scout, and Webelos Scout dens. Most packs have a
den for each grade level.
The Tiger Cub Den
Tiger Cubs are organized into Tiger Cub dens, which
usually consist of five to nine boys and their adult partners.
Most dens meet twice a month in a den meeting, have one outing
a month called a Go See It, and attend the Cub Scout pack
meeting. Each den meeting and den activity is led by a den
leader and an adult partner of one of the Tiger Cubs.
At the end of the school year, in May or June,
Tiger Cubs graduate into a Wolf Cub Scout den.
Totem Beads
A Tiger Cub is awarded a white bead for completing a family
activity, an orange bead for a den activity, and a black bead
for a Go See It. A yellow Tiger Track bead is awarded to a
Tiger Cub when he completes 10 electives. Beads are worn on
the Tiger Cub belt totem.
