Disney World Hints and Tips

While visiting the World Showcase in Disney World the child's combination plate is more than enough for an adult.

Younger children who scare easily should pull up their legs or sit in your lap at Honey, I Shrunk the Audience. This will allow them to avoid the tactile sensations.

At Living Seas the film in the briefing room is made for adult if you have children avoid it and go directly for the hydrolator

Most people move in a clockwise fashion at World Showcase, be diffent and move in a counterclockwise fashion is will save you time.

While at WDW visit Epcot Future World in the morning and in the afteroon when it gets hot visit the World Showcase where you can escape to indoor exhibits and films.

If you are like Depot Dan and stay at Fort Wilderness you should take the resort launch to the Magic Kingdom.

While at the Disney MGM Studios, closer is not always better for the 3-D shows, try to sit in the center.

If you have young kids take Epcot in small doses, maybe three to four hours at a time.

Visit The Living Seas and Wonders of Life pavilions in Epcot's Future World with your kids. The Kidcot Fun Stop is also a must stop.

To score points at Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, keep the trigger pressed. Aim for distant, or moving targets.

If you wish to cool off ask for a seat up front on Splash Mountain.

While entering Disney World, be prepared for the guards. The guards check a variety of carry in, (backpacks, purses). They sometimes check guest ID’s, so be sure and carry photo ID.

To cool off visit the Coca-Cola’s exhibit at Epcot. You can walk through an ice-cold cavern and shop for Coco-Cola merchandise.

Be sure and visit the Fountain of Nations water
ballet. You will find the fountain right behind
Spaceship Earth. The fountains squirt and dance in time to music with colored lights.

Most animals at the Animal Kingdom Park are more active in the morning. You should follow their lead and get there early if you want to get the most out of your animal interaction.
